Civil Infrastructure Engineering and Architectural Design: Challenges and Opportunities: Answering the Challenges of Applied Bachelors in Architecture

Rapid developments in the world of construction and design have created many opportunities and challenges, especially for applied scholars who want to become Architects. In the discussion which is still a series of Expert Speak activities in the Civil Infrastructure Engineering and Architectural Design Study Program which was held on November 8, 2024 at the Meeting Room on the 4th Floor of the Diponegoro University Vocational School, the aim was to explore the views of experts regarding this transition process and how applied scholars can answer the existing challenges. This activity presents resource persons who are experts in their fields, including AR. Ariko Andikabina (Indonesian Architects Association), Prof. Yandi Andri Yatmo, S.T., DIP. ARCH., M. ARCH., Ph.D. (University of Indonesia), and Dr. AR. Resza Riskiyanto, S.T., M.T., IAI. (IAI Central Java).

The Expert Speak activity held for Lecturers and Students of the Civil Infrastructure Engineering and Design Study Program is a very important forum. In this event, participants have the opportunity to listen to presentations and discussions from experts in the fields of architecture and civil engineering. This activity aims to dig deeper into how applied scholars can successfully transition to the field of architecture, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced in the process.
