The Staff Exchange activity between the Civil Infrastructure Engineering and Architectural Design (PILAR) Study Program, Department of Civil Engineering and Planning, Vocational School of Diponegoro University (SV UNDIP) with the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (FKAB UKM) was held on October 13–24, 2025 at the UKM Bangi campus, Selangor, Malaysia. In this activity, SV UNDIP delegated Muhammad Ismail Hasan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., an architecture lecturer representing the PILAR Study Program to participate in a series of academic activities at FKAB UKM. This activity was held as a follow-up to the Letter of Intent (LoI) signed between the two institutions in August 2025, with the aim of strengthening academic and research cooperation in the fields of architecture and civil engineering. During the program, the SV UNDIP delegation acted as guest lecturers in several lecture sessions and academic discussions at FKAB UKM, sharing experiences and insights regarding architectural vocational education in Indonesia.

In addition, this activity also serves as an important momentum to discuss plans for further collaboration, such as the Student Mobility program, joint research development, and co-partnership in organizing international conferences in the future. Through this Staff Exchange activity, it is hoped that the institutional relationship between SV UNDIP and FKAB UKM will become closer, and can open new opportunities for academic capacity development, knowledge exchange, and internationalization of higher education in the Southeast Asia region.
