Increasing the Visibility and Branding of Study Programs, PILAR Participates in Website Standardization Workshop Activities

In the competitive world of education, having a good website can provide a competitive advantage for study programs. By providing complete and accurate information, as well as an attractive and responsive display, study programs can attract the interest of prospective students and improve their reputation. Through workshop activities held by the Undip Vocational School on March 1-2, 2024, at the Larasasri Hotel, Salatiga, the Civil Infrastructure Engineering and Architectural Design study program took part in website standardization activities as a commitment to support the quality and branding of Diponegoro University.

Providing a website for study programs is very important, one of which is accessibility. The website allows easy and fast access to information for all parties related to the study program. For example, prospective students can easily find the information they need. Apart from increasing accessibility, a website’s existence also significantly influences relations between industry and the world of work. Websites can be used to build relationships between industry and the world of work. Study programs can publish information about collaboration with companies or other institutions, internship opportunities, or job opportunities for graduates. This can strengthen connections between study programs and the world of work and provide benefits for students in terms of job placement or career development.

With the workshop activities that have been carried out, it is hoped that the role of websites for study programs, especially Civil Infrastructure Engineering and Architectural Design, will become a source of information that is informative and attractive to visitors so that the branding of the study program will be excellent and helpful in providing information. With a good website, study programs can increase their visibility and strengthen their image and reputation, especially in education.
