Saturday, March 9, 2024, the Infrastructure Engineering Study Program carried out the TALXHITWO: Pilars Twenty Two Talk Show activity with the theme “The Gorgeous of Indonesia”. This activity presented Mr. Dr. Ir. Agung Dwiyanto, M.T. as a resource person who is a lecturer in the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University.
This theme is very interesting to raise considering that Indonesia is indeed very beautiful. Indonesia has stunning natural beauty, extraordinary cultural riches, and the friendliness of its people. Many aspects make Indonesia so beautiful, one of which is Indonesian architecture which has a unique and distinctive beauty, combining elements of traditional culture with influences from various periods. The beauty of Indonesian architecture is reflected in its cultural and historical diversity. Each region in Indonesia has different characteristics and architectural styles, reflecting Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage.
In this activity, several props in the form of measuring instruments and student work in the form of designs presented in brochures/pamphlets and mock-ups in the form of architectural buildings were also displayed/exhibited. This activity is also very interesting by showing traditional dances that are in line with the theme raised, namely “The Beauty of Indonesia”.
