Pekalongan Regency, (07/08/2024) – Pakumbulan Village Connecting Bridge is a critical infrastructure in connecting Pakumbulan Village with Pekajangan Village. This bridge is just a narrow road with a width of 4×2 meters that connects the two sides of the village. However, this bridge facilitates the flow of transportation for residents. Currently, the condition of the bridge connecting the town is physically damaged, and widening is needed so that it can function more optimally.
Realizing the importance of safe and comfortable access for residents, the Pakumbulan Village Apparatus plans a bridge repair and widening project in early 2025. In connection with this plan, TEAM II of the Diponegoro University Community Service (KKN) 2023/2024 took the initiative to assist in designing the Detail Engineering Design (DED) and Budget Plan (RAB) as an initial stage before the physical implementation of the bridge widening project.
This bridge is planned with a design that emphasizes simplicity and efficiency. The design of this bridge stands out with its straightforward approach, using readily available local materials. The bridge structure is designed efficiently to minimize material usage but remains solid and durable.
This bridge is designed with a width of 4×4 meters; this bridge is not only more comprehensive, more vital, practical, and ready to support mobility. This change is about increasing the size and providing hope for safer, more comfortable, and more beneficial access for the village’s future.
The design of the Pakumbulan Village Connecting Bridge was recommended by Dhea Agustien Puspita Ningrum, a student majoring in Civil Infrastructure Engineering and Architectural Design at the Faculty of Vocational School. This comprehensive planning design includes the required Detail Engineering Design (DED) drawings and Budget Plan (RAB).
The design and RAB for the Pakumbuan Village Connecting Bridge were submitted on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. The design and RAB report results for the Pakumbulan Village Connecting Bridge were submitted to Mr. Rifky, the Secretary of Pakumbulan Village. The hope of TEAM II KKN Universitas Diponegoro 2023/2024, with the creation of this design plan and RAB, can make it easier for Pakumbulan Village to determine the bridge design and budget the costs required during the reconstruction, which will be carried out in early 2025.
