To improve the quality of HR (Human Resources) Competence for Teachers, Lecturers, and Industry, BKSP Central Java, in collaboration with the PI Vocational School Professional Certification Institute, Diponegoro University, has implemented “Training and Assessment of Prospective Competency Assessors” on November 25, 2024, to November 30, 2024, which took place at the Metro Park View Hotel, Old City of Semarang. This training aims to produce Competency Assessors to support and accelerate the competency certification process in Schools and Universities, especially in Central Java and Indonesia. This Assessor Training also invites lecturers from the Civil Infrastructure Engineering and Architectural Design Study Programs as participants, namely Asri Nurdiana, S.T., M.T., Shifa Fauziyah, S.T., M.T., Fardzanela Suwarto, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., and Muh Bahrul Ulum Al Karimi, S.Pd., M.T.
In the implementation of “Training and Assessment of Prospective Competency Assessors,” participants will receive comprehensive material on assessment methodology, evaluation techniques, and how to provide good feedback up to the practice of contributing to assessment validation. In addition, participants are also trained to prepare an assessment plan that is effective and relevant to the competency to be achieved. This program is expected to produce quality competency assessors who can play an active role in the certification process in various educational institutions. Thus, competency certification can run faster and more efficiently and ensure that each graduate has a recognized and relevant certificate to their expertise.
