A number of Lecturers and Students of the Civil Infrastructure Engineering Study Program and Architectural Design of the Vocational School of Diponegoro University last week carried out community service activities in Wonolopo Village, Mijen-Semarang District. This activity is held for 3 (three) days on 11-13 March 2022. In general, the service activities carried out are applications of the knowledge learned on campus so that students are expected to learn directly through practical experience in the field. This activity itself is a series of activities consisting of landscape design for the Wonolopo Village office park, seminars on healthy tourism management, waste management for SMEs in Wonolopo Tourism Village, Planting, Clean Up World Campaign, blood donation, health screening, healthy exercise, and educational seminars.
The service activities carried out received full support from the village government and related agencies such as Bappeda and the Environmental Service. One form of real support is the provision of 100 plant seeds from the Environmental Service which are used in the implementation of service. The activity which in its opening was attended by representatives from the Environmental Service, representatives of Wonolopo Village, Lecturers and Students are expected to help local communities and overcome and optimize potential in the context of village development in Wonolopo Village through community service activities from lecturers and students.
