In his role as a Construction Management professional, Nurul Hadi Sofyan was involved in project implementation supervision, quality control, time management, and inter-party coordination on construction projects in Japan. This experience provided him with extensive insight into international construction standards, which are known for their stringent and precise work practices.
Nurul Hadi Sofyan stated that his education at university was instrumental in developing the competencies needed in the international workplace. “During my studies in the Civil Infrastructure Engineering and Architectural Design Study Program at the Vocational School of Diponegoro University (SV Diponegoro University), I was equipped not only with theory but also with highly applicable practical skills. This greatly helped me adapt to the Japanese work system, which prioritizes quality, discipline, and efficiency. I am proud to be an Undip alumni,” he said. He also added that the courage to step out of one’s comfort zone and a willingness to continuously learn are key to achieving career opportunities abroad.
